I get great pleasure in designing and creating excellent quality Handmade Jewellery and Lampwork Beads.

My Jewellery

Each piece is one of a kind, created by myself. A lot of my work incorporates Handmade Lampwork Glass Beads. These are made by myself in my studio, or by some of the best Contemporary Glass Artists of our time. I use nothing but the best quality materials available. The Glass and Semi-Precious Stones are combined mostly with Silver or Vermeil (24ct Gold Plated onto Sterling Silver), as I believe it brings out their best.

Each Anna Moore piece comes packaged in an excellent quality elegant display box – from same people who design and make Harrod’s packaging.

Bio

I am accredited by the SRA (Self Representing Artist) body and am a member of UK Crafts. I am currently artist in residence at Fireworks Glass Studio and Gallery, The Arts Quarter, Bristol.

My Lampwork Beads are produced under the name Firelily. Currently these are available via this site, at Fireworks Gallery in Bristol, The Ingoldsby Gallery in Margate and in a boutique in Bath called Smitten Designs, Marlborough Buildings.

Influences for my work

I find the natural world to be a great inspiration and many of my bead designs reflect this, as does my choice of materials for the finished jewellery. The depth and natural beauty of Semi-Precious Stones, especially in the natural inclusions found in them, combine beautifully well with the purity and clarity of the glass. Coloured glass is fascinating and I love utilising the depth of design that can be created when using it as a medium.

My work aims to create pieces that incorporate both the aesthetic and the spirit of true beauty. My friends are a real inspiration for my designs and it got me thinking about what it is that makes us truly beautiful…

With this in mind I set out to create ranges of jewellery that encapture different aspects of our character, inspired by each of my friends. I have dedicated a range to each of them. Please see the ‘Ranges’ page for more information.

Finally, as true beauty surely comes from our attitudes in life, I want to represent this by supporting charitable causes. 10% of all profits are donated to a cause and a whole page is dedicated to the cause we are currently supporting.
